The South Somerset West Primary Care Network (SSW PCN) health and wellbeing day took place on Saturday 28th February at the Henhayes Centre in Crewkerne with between 150 and 200 people attending!
At the event was information and activities for all ages to support people with their health, discover local support services, try out wellbeing activities in a friendly environment, and answer any questions people had.
Stands included those from Somerset Council, Somerset NHS Charity, South Somerset Rural Health Hub, NHS Somerset Talking
Simon White, Operations and Transformation Manager at the South Somerset West Primary Care Network, says “there are so many brilliant services in and around Crewkerne and across Somerset, but people don’t always know what’s available or how to access it.”
“This event is about breaking down those barriers, bringing everything together under one roof, in a really accessible way. Events like this are so important because they help people feel connected.”
The team behind the event are keen to thank all the organisations who supported the event, it was a great showcase for the services in this area and how we all work together.
Thank you to our local community for coming out and joining in.
The SSW PCN comprises Buttercross Health Centre, Crewkerne Health Centre, Hamdon Medical Centre and Martock and South Petherton Medical Centre.
