Due to Covid-19, practices and other NHS services have had very different Christmas decorations this year – such as laminated pictures – to ensure patient and staff safety whilst still having some festive enjoyment.
As part of these efforts, our Parent Company – Yeovil District Hospital – had their Christmas Trees outside this year, with departments and teams able to decorate a dedicated tree at dedicated times.
We wish to thank Dr Kathryn Patrick (GP, Buttercross Health Centre) and her family who spent their free time decorating the Symphony Healthcare Services Tree which now stands bright and pink outside the hospital for all to see. After withstanding the elements last week, our tree continues to promote Christmas cheer and our SHS mission!
Whilst bringing a new sense of joy, much like many other amended traditions, there is no doubt that Christmas will be different for everyone this year. We strongly encourage families within Somerset to follow government guidance in an effort to protect the ones that we love, as well as our frontline staff.
From all of us at Symphony Healthcare Services, we wish you a Merry Christmas!
