We are a rapidly growing NHS healthcare organisation in the south-west, first launched in April 2016.  To support our continued growth we are now recruiting additional GPs who want to use their skills in a broad clinical team and develop a role based on their interests.

With over 68,000 patients and ten GP practice locations in the south-west, we are continuing to grow as more practices choose to join us.  We are developing new multi-disciplinary teams across our practices that support our GPs and provide a greater choice of specialist care and treatments for our patients.

We have a number of current vacancies across our current practices, as well as the additional practices who will be joining our team over the next few months.

**VACANCY OF THE MONTH! – For September 2018, we have two GP practice vacancies at: Oaklands Surgery and Hamdon Medical Centre as well as opportunities for flexible remote, sessional and home working.

 Hamdon Medical Centre,  is situated in the village of Stoke sub Hamdon, the medical centre provides healthcare services for many of the local surrounding villages and are  looking for a new  GP to join an enthusiastic and friendly healthcare team, looking after a patient list of around 5,000 patients.

 

Oaklands Surgery has over 10,000 patients who are cared for across two locations, providing services for a wide range of patient needs. Oaklands Surgery operates from The Birchfield Road site and Yeovil Health Centre, in the town centre of Yeovil.

Our new model of care is helping our GPs to develop new sustainable ways of caring for our patients, to meet the changing needs of patients, both today and in to the future.  Our new clinical network joins together clinical expertise from across our practices to help promote innovation and develop new ways to manage workloads and provide a high quality patient service.

 We are offering a competitive remuneration package based on the BMA GP contract and pay scale, linked to national pay awards, plus additional incentive payments and allowances for clinical specialist skills or leadership roles.  Opportunities for further training and career advancement also available.
